Dr Sulak Anandabaskaran
Specialist Gastroenterologist Dr Anandabaskaran is a specialist committed to providing personable and compassionate care in Gastroenterology and Hepatology. He grew up in New Zealand and completed his undergraduate medical degree at the University of Auckland. Subsequently, he moved to Sydney and underwent his Gastroenterology training at St Vincent’s Hospital and Liverpool Hospital. -
Dr Chris Kiely
Specialist Gastroenterologist Dr Kiely studied medicine at Sydney University, graduating in 2008. He subsequently undertook specialist training in gastroenterology at Royal North Shore Hospital in Sydney, gaining fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians in 2014. During this time, he developed a special interest in inflammatory bowel diseases (IBD). This was further refined over two years while working at Canberra Hospital and in the United Kingdom, where he was the senior clinical fellow in IBD at Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge. He completed a PhD focussed on IBD through the Australian National University and has multiple peer-review publications in this area. -
Dr Mayenaaz (Naaz) Sidhu
Dr Mayennaz (Naaz) Sidhn is a highly qualified gastroenterologist who is committed to always striving to provide high-quality evidenced based care. He was awarded his fellowship with the Royal Australia College of Physicians (FRACP) in 2017 and then undertook a 2 year advanced endoscopy fellowship at the world-renowned Westmead Hospital under the supervision of Prof. Bourke. During this time, he focused on ERCP and third space endoscopy. He subsequently completed a PhD at the University of Sydney. -
Dr Neha Tiwari
Specialist Gastroenterologist & Hepatologist Dr Neha Tiwari is a Gastroenterologist and Hepatologist. She completed her physician training at Concord Hospital and core gastroenterology training at Nepean Hospital. Following this, she went on to complete a fellowship in hepatology at Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital. After obtaining her FRACP in 2021, she embarked on an overseas fellowship at the world-renowned Toronto General Hospital, Canada, specialising in advanced hepatology (portal hypertension) under the supervision of Dr Florence Wong.

Dr Nemes Sandanayake
Dr Neomal (Nemes) Sandanayake graduated in medicine from The University of Sydney in 1998, undergoing his physician and gastroenterology training at Royal Prince Alfred, Concord and Royal North Shore Hospitals between 1998 and 2005. He moved to the United Kingdom in 2006 for an endoscopy Fellowship at University College London Hospital, and between 2007 and 2010 undertook research in pancreatic and bile duct cancer for which he was awarded a Doctor of Philosophy in Medicine by The University of Sydney.
