Specialist Gastroenterologist
Dr Kiely studied medicine at Sydney University, graduating in 2008. He subsequently undertook specialist training in gastroenterology at Royal North Shore Hospital in Sydney, gaining fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians in 2014. During this time, he developed a special interest in inflammatory bowel diseases (IBD). This was further refined over two years while working at Canberra Hospital and in the United Kingdom, where he was the senior clinical fellow in IBD at Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge. He completed a PhD focussed on IBD through the Australian National University and has multiple peer-review publications in this area.
