Dr. Sidhu obtained his medical degree in 2010 and was awarded his fellowship with the Royal Australian College of Physicians (FRACP) in 2017. He subsequently completed two years of an advanced endoscopy fellowship focusing on Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography (ERCP), Endoscopic Mucosal Resection (EMR) and Endoscopic Submucosa Dissection (ESD). He is currently undertaking a PhD in the field of advanced tissue resection to innovate and develop new techniques in advanced endoscopy to further the treatment of early cancer in the GI tract. He has published in numerous peer-reviewed journals and has been an invited speaker at multiple national and international gastroenterology meetings and conferences.

Dr. Sidhu is trained in gastroenterology and hepatology. He has a specific interest in advanced therapeutic endoscopic procedures including; ERCP for hepato-biliary pathology and advanced tissue resection for treatment of early luminal GI neoplasia.

Dr. Sidhu is currently appointed as a visiting medical officer (VMO) at Concord Hospital, Auburn Hospital, Gosford Hospital, Westmead Private Hospital, Macquarie University Hospital, Rosemont Day Surgery, Riverina Day Surgery and City West Day Surgery.
